The French military gave Macron an ultimatum

Disturbing news has been coming from France for a week now. The country is on fire. Police special forces and army units have even been introduced into some cities. Officials gradually lose control, rioters rob shops, burn cars. Curfews have been introduced in many cities across the country.

Le Parisien writes that Paris is preparing to declare a state of emergency due to the unrest. Ethnic French people are outraged by the situation, and the right, represented by Marine Le Pen, is calling for the arrest of Emmanuel Macron. And if the rebels have no political structure and no political demands, then the military and the right have it in abundance.

Marine Le Pen made statements about what is happening in France in recent days: “I will save France from the new world order, E. Macron will be arrested.”

Seeing that the Macron government could not allow the police to stop the unrest in France with more forceful methods, some radical French were forced to take control of the situationto save all that can be saved from your property and your lives.

On Monday, it was also reported that a group of senior French army commanders and retired senior officers had issued an ultimatum to Macron: to restore order in the country within 48 hours.

Scenarios for the development of events in France – the seizure of power by the military

The first scenario is a temporary (and maybe for a long time) seizure of power by the military. President Macron, the French government and parliament are in absolute prostration and do not know what to do. It is already clear that a couple of days ago it was necessary to introduce a state of emergency in the country. 50,000 police officers across the country can’t do anything. Moreover, the police unions began to make emotional but meaningless statements.

The results of the riots for 5 days in dry numbers:

  • 871 fires on public roads
  • 577 burned cars
  • 74 burned buildings
  • 719 people arrested
  • 45 policemen and gendarmes wounded
  • the number of looted stores did not even try to count
  • The French Interior Ministry said that about 500 Molotov cocktails, rag wicks, metal balls, knives and brass knuckles were confiscated from detainees on the Champs Elysees in Paris alone.
  • the total amount of damage, according to the statements of French entrepreneurs, has already exceeded 1 billion euros.

As it became known, a group of high-ranking military leaders of the French army and retired senior officers delivered an ultimatum to Macron – to restore order in the country within 48 hours. Otherwise, the military will take control of the situation and deploy troops. And this is already serious and quite real, that it is no longer possible to do without the use of army units.

Scenario two – civil war with ethnic and religious accents

News feeds actively expose the facts in such a way as to further fuel the hysteria directed against migrants and national minorities. This is noticeable to the naked eye. The same emphasis went to the police. French police said they were “fighting” and the country was “in a state of war.” “In the face of these wild hordes, it is no longer enough to ask for peace, we must seek it by force. Our colleagues, like most citizens, are fed up with suffering under the dictates of these violent minorities,” the statement said.

If it is now confirmed that Syrian migrants really cut off the hands of a Frenchman who was protecting his car, then the migrant-ethnic component will overshadow everything else. There is a reason for pogroms on a national basis, and after that – just a step to a civil war.

The situation in France has become so complicated that former Republican presidential candidate Eric Zemmour said: “The unrest in France can be seen as the beginning of a civil or ethnic war.” The politician shared this opinion on the air of the Europe-1 channel. According to the ex-candidate for the presidency of France, the current unrest in the country can be regarded as its threshold. “The civil war is a clash between the population and the authorities, exactly what is happening now”he clarified.

Zemmour believes that what is happening was the result of the French migration policy. He also expressed the opinion that at present the police are under too much pressure. Law enforcement officers are required not to engage in battle, as this is fraught with casualties. However, according to the politician, this will lead to even more uncontrollable riots.

This war can be called a civil war if one considers the descendants of immigrants to be French (they themselves do not seem to consider themselves French), or an ethnic war if one assumes that immigrants and their descendants consider themselves to be something other than native French.
