Tempi: how is the health of the only survivor from the 1st car

Yesterday, Gerasimos, the only survivor of the 1st passenger car, had a birthday, and he received many wishes.

The president of the Larissa Medical Association, Konstantinos Giannakopoulos, mentioned the grave health condition of a 21-year-old young man who is the only survivor of the first car in a terrible accident that occurred on the railway tracks in Tempi.

“Obviously, he has very serious neurological complications, and we do not know if they will be reversible. Some, of course, are irreversible. The victim breathes through a tracheostomy (breathing tube). He still has a long way to go to recover from some severe complications,” the medic told TV channel. OPEN.

Gerasimos was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Larisa hospital. He is in a coma, his state of health remains critical and difficult, despite the optimism of doctors. Yesterday the young man had a birthday, and among the wishes he received, there were many touching ones. His aunt wrote on her Facebook account: “We congratulate you and hope that next year you can blow out the candles on the cake yourself. Hold on, boy, our “great giant”. We love you.”
