Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan appealed to the US authorities after the attack on the Turkish house with a demand to find the perpetrator as soon as possible.

“Do you think that we will not tell the US authorities: “Come on, you need to quickly find this terrorist and do whatever is necessary”? <…> You have been entrusted with the “Turkish House”. You must find this terrorist.”
The politician asked what Washington’s reaction would be if a similar attack had been carried out in Turkey. After that, he accused the American government of not making enough efforts to end the conflicts, although they have the opportunity:
“But now there is Türkiye, there is us. We are ready to do whatever is necessary.”
On May 22, it became known about the attack on the building of the Turkish House in New York, where the Turkish Consulate General is located. The attack took place at about 3 am – an unknown man armed with a crowbar broke several windows on the first floor of the building.
