The regular cross-checking of the data that real estate platforms send to the IRS continues to bear fruit.
Using the algorithm of special software at their disposal, ΑΑΔΕ auditors took data from AirBnB sites with which a certain hotel in Meteora cooperates and compared them with the company’s customer database and accounting reports, as well as current bank transfers. The conclusions that were made in the end are shocking. Neither has the hotel division declared an income of 1.3 million euros.
Violation of tax laws was immediately recorded. The hotel will have to pay basic taxes of more than 300,000 euros. The auditors continue to go through the hotel’s accounting records to see if there are any other… omissions.
