The US is concerned about the explosive climate created in Greek society after the Tempi train disaster, as Ambassador Ioannis Tsounis said in a speech on Greek television calling for a split: “I think that such an event should not be used to divide the nation, although the nation will take time to heal your wounds.”

I don’t know if the parents of these children will ever be able to come to terms with this, but with God’s help, our prayers and the support of the nation, I hope the pain will be eased.
