Named the safest and top 10 cities in the world for the rest of women who go on a trip without companions.
Solo vacation trips are becoming more and more popular, and more and more women are choosing to travel alone. A new study by InsureMyTrip has identified the safest cities for such trips.
‘Really beautiful’ and has ‘stunning views’ top safety rating Dubai (UAE), writes Express referring to the new data. The authors of the study describe it as the safest place for women to walk around the city at night.
The top 10 safest cities for solo travelers are:
- Dubai, UAE.
- Madrid, Spain.
- Chiang Mai, Thailand.
- Antalya, Turkey.
- Munich, Germany.
- Barcelona, Spain.
- Medina, Saudi Arabia.
- Prague, Czech Republic.
- Krakow, Poland.
- Lisbon, Portugal.
Tourism experts also named the safest countries for single women in 2023 in the world. The top three are Ireland, Austria and Norway.
In Europe, German Munich was named the safest city for single tourists. The top five European cities included Zurich, Prague, Zagreb and Timisoara. Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Denmark and Luxembourg topped the list of safe European countries for tourists this year.
Although not everything is so clear. Noting safety and comfort, the Bulgarians, for example, traditionally choose holiday destination Greece.
