The fire department of the island of Corfu/Kerkyra was alerted.
According to the publication kerkyrasimera, a tourist fell into a well in the Kanoni area on the island of Corfu. Three fire engines with a rescue team immediately went to the scene of the incident. They rescued a woman who had fallen from the well and evacuated her.
The tourist who suffered the accident is now safe. Her condition is assessed as satisfactory. The circumstances under which the tourist ended up in the well are not yet known.
