Eleven Romanian pilgrims who climbed Mount Athos are in hospital after eating poisonous mushrooms.

The pilgrims began their climb to the top of Mount Athos when, along the way, they noticed and ate mushrooms, which they considered edible. Immediately notified, ΕKAB picked up the pilgrims from the port of Ouranoupoli and took them to Polygyros Hospital.
