Kipseli. Unknown beheads cats: “If you continue to feed them, I will kill the rest too”

“If you keep feeding them, I will kill the rest,” read the message found a few steps from the place where an unknown person left the headless body of a dead cat.

“He left her on the tree [записку]. He attached a note to the trunk, for which he cut out letters from newspapers and magazines. The killer wrote: “If you continue to feed them, I will kill them one by one.” A resident of Kipseli told MEGA about the note left by the criminal.

Animal welfare activists are asking local residents for information to help put an end to this disgusting act before more animals in the area lose their lives. “Attention, cat lovers! This bastard killed a cat and is threatening to do it again. Anyone who sees anything should contact the police immediately.” the message says.

The police have already been informed about the incident and are trying to understand the situation based on images taken by CCTV cameras in the area. “I wish someone would find a way to see his face and find out who this person is.”, said one of the area residents.

At least five cats found decapitated

As for the dead cats found in the Kipseli area, there are at least five such cases. In particular, last winter two dead cats were found on Elikonas Hill, and in May another dead cat was found wrapped in a towel, but its head was never found.

The latest incidents occurred in September: the first on September 27 on Spetsona Street, where a threatening note was found, and two days later another cat was found on Helikon Street.

However, the criminal's threatening message did not go unanswered. Young residents of the area wrote a message for him:

“Dear sir. Killing animals is not good. We try to take care of them as often as we can. Instead of taking care of them, you kill them. Please don't do this again. God is watching and will punish you!”
