Funeral of the victim "Cassandra"

The funeral of a 54-year-old man who tragically died during the raging cyclone Kassandra will be held today in Agrinio, Etoloakarnania.

Relatives and friends gathered today to bid farewell to a worker who tragically died yesterday morning, 5/10, as a result of a powerful mud flow in Etoloakarnaniya. According to agriniopress.gr, the man worked as a security guard at an asphalt production site. He tried to leave in his car, seeing the approaching bad weather. However, his car was overturned by a stream of mud and water, and his body was carried out to sea.

The remains were found 7 kilometers from the place where he was last seen alive. The funeral will take place at St George's Church at 17:00. The coffin with the deceased will be in the church for farewell from 16:30.
