The US is outraged by the decision of the administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to allocate an amount to victims of the devastating Hurricane Helen at 750 dollarswhile they allegedly provide benefits to illegal immigrants in the amount of 2500 dollars.

Donald Trump was one of many senior Republicans to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris after her visit to Georgia on Wednesday to see damage from Hurricane Helen, saying she only offered $750 to victims.

The Democratic presidential candidate mentioned the money during a speech in Augusta, drawing outrage from those who said that was all she offered to disaster victims.

At least 200 people were killed as the hurricane passed over Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. Many houses were washed away or heavily damaged, and thousands of people were left without electricity or communications.

The outcry over the $750 comes after claims that other FEMA grants for communities facing an influx of migrants could be used to help those affected by Hurricane Helen.
