A 16-year-old teenager has been arrested for robbing an elderly woman in Piraeus, snatching a chain with a cross from her neck.
The parents were also arrested for neglecting to fulfill their duties of upbringing and supervision.
The incident took place on September 24 in the Piraeus area, near the Municipal Theatre. Using physical violence, the teenager took a cross and a gold chain from the neck of an elderly woman. The valuable jewelry was later found on the criminal and identified by its owner.
The minor was arrested by the ΔΙΑΣ police and taken to the prosecutor along with his parents.
