The footage discrediting the “face” of Athens, in particular Syntagma Square, was filmed. The main characters of the “play” were… rats.
Surprisingly, but true! Rats “walk” around the central square during rush hour, not reacting to either transport or passers-by. The footage shows how the “animals” enjoy a walk in the most touristy place, completing the unsightly appearance of the capital of Greece. They clearly feel like they are bigger masters here than people.
People who travel a lot, condescendingly comment in the style – are these really rats, in Rome (New York, London) we saw rats, and they were the size of a cat. And here – some small fry.
However, although unsanitary conditions are an international concept, the mayor of Athens should be ashamed.
