Brutal gang robberies in Neos Kosmos – 3 people hospitalized

On the night of August 28, in the capital's Neos Kosmos district, group attacks with the purpose of robbery took place; three people ended up in the hospital.

How tells CNN Greece, the police investigation is progressing and has identified dozens of people who attacked ordinary passers-by with the motive of robbery.

The first attack by about twenty strangers on motorcycles was carried out on two citizens a few minutes after 01:00, at the intersection of Ilia Iliu and Franci streets. After beating the victims, the criminals took their mobile phone and wallet and quickly left the scene of the incident. Two victims were taken to hospital.

Half an hour later, at the intersection of Irini and Vergina streets, ten people on motorcycles stopped a group of four people and took away a mobile phone. One of the victims received a strong blow and was hospitalized.
