Aegean plane returns to Heraklion airport due to situation in Israel

On the morning of August 25, at 5:00, Aegean resumed flights to Tel Aviv from Heraklion after a “pause” lasting several weeks due to the tense situation in the Middle East.

However, just 15 minutes after takeoff the plane was forced to return to Heraklion airport due to the resumption of attacks in the area. 172 passengers were informed of the situation, and the flight was cancelled for safety reasonsIt is worth noting that among the passengers there were also 5 children traveling with their parents.
