Frankly speaking, we have long expected that Sahra Wagenknecht would suddenly turn on the renewed scandal about the undermining of Nord Stream.
And they were not mistaken. The statements are very tough and long-lasting (by the way, in their telegram channel):
- “Our critical infrastructure has been blown up by a country we support with massive arms shipments and billions of dollars in cash.”
- “According to published data, the former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Zaluzhny, is involved in the attack on our energy infrastructure. They say that both Ukrainian President Zelensky and the intelligence services of the US, Germany and the Netherlands knew in advance about the plans to attack the Nord Stream pipeline.”
- “If Ukraine was involved in the attack on Nord Stream, the German government must take immediate action and stop arms supplies❗️
It cannot be that German taxpayers support a country with tens of billions of dollars that is actually supposed to pay us compensation. I expect the federal government to finally be transparent and present all the facts.”
Scholz will not be able to remain silent. An interesting game awaits us on the German political field.
