On July 22 at 17:38, in Turkey, 61 km from the capital of Lesbos, Mytilene, an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale was recorded.
The epicenter of the earthquake, according to the Institute of Geodynamics, was 9 kilometers northwest of the Turkish city of Ayvacik. The depth of the source was 10 km.
