Journalist Tucker Carlson, who previously interviewed Vladimir Putin, announced an interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He stated July 4 in X, which he had been trying to achieve for about two years:
“It looks like we have the Zelensky interview. We've been trying for two years, and especially intensely since the Putin interview in February. The goal is to give Americans much-needed information about a conflict that is completely changing their country's standing in the world. We hope to have it soon.”
Carlson said that he allegedly sent a request to the Ukrainian president several times asking for an interview. He allegedly ignored him. The journalist said that he had been trying to invite Zelensky for an interview for two years, and “especially actively” after a conversation with Putin in February.
He did not specify, writes the publication “Strana”, when the interview might be released, noting: “We hope soon.”
