In Germany, a policeman died in an accident with Orban's motorcade

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's motorcade in Germany was involved in an accident, resulting in the death of a 61-year-old German police officer.

How reports Bild, the accident occurred on Monday, June 24, at approximately 11:15 a.m., in the city of Stuttgart. A 69-year-old woman in her BMW, who drove over the fence, crashed into the motorcycle of a police officer accompanying Orban's car.

The blow was so strong that the policeman was thrown onto the official motorcycle of another 27-year-old officer accompanying the Hungarian Prime Minister. Both were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The 61-year-old policeman died a short time later in hospital, Stuttgart Police Commissioner Markus Eisenbraun said. The investigation of the accident was taken over by the police department of another city, Ludwigsburg, so that it would not be dealt with by the deceased’s colleagues.

According to Bild, Orban was in Germany for the European Football Championship. The night before, he watched the Hungarian team's victory over Scotland in the previous round of the championship.
