In practice, this is a small rearrangement without significant changes, of a purely communicative nature, designed to change the agenda of those days, which were the electoral sop of New Democracy in the European elections. In fact, some changes have been made in areas that New Democracy voters were particularly concerned about.
What are the concerns of non-voters, and could the government, in theory, pretend that it would somehow change its policy? High prices and illegal immigration, as well as what happened at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Therefore, there were some changes in faces there too. However, there will be no policy changes, since what happens in all sectors is the main decision of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis himself.
The swearing-in of new members of the Government will take place today at 18:00 in the Presidential Palace in the presence of the President of the Republic. Tomorrow at 10.00 there will be a meeting of the Council of Ministers under the Prime Minister in a new composition with the issues on the agenda already announced.
