During Sunday's cycling marathon in central Athens, an unexpected incident occurred on Singru Avenue when a trolleybus stalled and blocked the road.
The problem was that the particular point was part of the route of a bicycle race, which required immediate intervention to ensure the race was not interrupted. Videos posted on social media showed police officers, passengers, passers-by and cyclists rushing to help.
Volunteers had to rally (and act in unison) to remove the trolleybus from the middle of the road. In the end, their joint efforts had a result, and the colossus was moved, allowing the bicycle tour to continue.
The video, which was posted on the Internet, captured the efforts of the townspeople.
