A mixture of baking soda and powdered sugar is a natural way to get rid of cockroaches at home.. Simply mix equal parts of these ingredients and sprinkle on the areas where you notice cockroaches.
It is believed that this combination is fatal to cockroaches, since they eat this mixture, and the soda, reacting chemically with water in the stomach, leads to the formation of bubbles, and the cockroach’s well-being will worsen.
The second option is an ammonia solution. It is recommended to mix 2 cups of ammonia in a bucket filled with water and use this solution to clean sinks and gutters throughout the house. The strong smell of ammonia is believed to repel cockroaches.
The third method is dried bay leaf. Grind it in a blender and sprinkle the resulting “dust” on areas and places where cockroaches often appear. The scent of laurel is said to repel insects.
