15 Caribbean countries claim slave trade reparations from London

Fifteen Caribbean countries want trillions of dollars in reparations from London for the slave trade.

According to the Daily Mail, citing sources, the amount of the claim is 270 billion dollars. This issue will be raised on October 21, at the Caribbean Community meeting in Samoa.

How notes BB.LV publication, American legal experts believe that 30 Caribbean countries are entitled to compensation – and not just from Britain.

Last year's report, which was compiled by judges from the International Criminal Court, stated that The UK must pay $24 trillion in reparations, of which $9.6 trillion must go to Jamaica.
