Life-sentenced wife-murderer Babis Anagnostopoulos' dream of studying law doesn't seem to be coming true, at least not anytime soon.
As reported by ANT1, Babis Anagnostopoulos will not study law since the Democritus University asks for the physical presence of the pilot during the exams, and he cannot attend due to life imprisonment.
The important thing is that if he had served 15 years, he would have received special permission to take the exams, but not before. However, Caroline Crouch's killer has a window to succeed, but that will be revealed in the coming days.
It is worth noting that another killer and terrorist Nikos Romanos was allowed to study at the technical school. To accomplish this, his father achieved a rendezvous with the Prime Minister of Greece Adonis Samaras and was able to persuade him.
In May 2021, 32-year-old Babis Anagnostopoulos killed his young wife and framed it as a robbery case. As the investigation found out, there was no robbery in the house, and the culprit of the crime, the killer of the young mother, turned out to be her husband, who all this time “played the role of a grief-stricken widower” – both for the relatives of the unfortunate girl, and in front of reporters.
After much testimony, he “broke down” and confessed in his heinous act because the evidence against him was overwhelming. However, the cold-blooded behavior of the head of the family is impressive, as is the way he planned to cover up the murder of his wife and mother of his child.
