Man who illegally filmed girl on train detained by authorities

Authorities have confirmed the arrest of a 64-year-old man who illegally filmed an 18-year-old female train passenger. OSEen route from Athens to Thessaloniki.

When the young woman became aware of an unknown person making illegal video recordings, she reported it to the train management, which resulted in the police being informed.

As soon as the train arrived at the Thessaloniki station, police officers from the DI.AS team were already waiting for the offender and eventually arrested the man after bringing charges. He is reportedly a Pakistani citizen. A case of personal data violation has been opened against the 64-year-old. The accused was taken to the prosecutor's office.
