A ship in the southern part of the Sea of Crete sent out an SOS signal.
It was reported by the Coast Guard at around 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 2. There is serious concern for the safety of those on the ship.
According to the first information According to cretalive.gr, the origin of the ship remains unknown. Since the SOS signal was received, air, land and sea forces have been mobilized to locate it.
The ship is believed to be south of Rethymno, but its exact location remains unclear.
