The driver of a Skoda car drove into a pizzeria in the Austrian city of Mittersill, ramming tables with customers, but he himself remained completely unharmed.
The reckless driver turned out to be a 37-year-old Pole. The incident occurred on Sunday, August 25, reports and the Austrian publication ORF shows a video from surveillance cameras. The man lost control of his car during the rain. The ages of the victims range from 31 to 54 years old.
A firefighter from the local volunteer brigade, Martin Rauchenbacher, told the publication that the man drove through a window straight into the hall with visitors. The police claim that the driver was completely sober and was not injured.
