In Kolonaki it was done grand theft: robbers broke into the home of a 77-year-old man and broke into a safe that was in his home. The criminals' loot included jewelry worth half a million euros.
According to the information, the robbery was committed between August 11 and 19. The robbers entered the apartment on the fifth floor from the balcony, taking advantage of the fact that the 77-year-old owner was absent.
They began searching all the rooms until they found the businessman's safe. From it they stole jewelry, silverware and cutlery worth up to 500,000 euros.
The perpetrators have fled and an investigation is currently underway to establish their whereabouts. The businessman has contacted the Syntagma police station, which is conducting a discreet investigation.
