An earthquake was recorded in the sea area near the island of Rhodes early this morning, August 22 at 03:19.
The strength of the tremors was 4.2 on the Richter scale. The depth of the source is estimated at 28.8 kilometers.
According to the revised decision of the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 26 km south/southwest of Katavia (Rhodes).
