A father and daughter were struggling with the waves, risking drowning in the waters of Malia beach, when lifeguards rushed to their aid.
According to neakriti.gr, the incident occurred on Saturday (August 17) at Klotzani Beach. A patrol group immediately arrived at the scene on a jet ski. The brave guys managed to get close to the drowning people and save two bathers who were being carried away into the sea.
The 33-year-old woman was pulled unconscious from the water and given first aid, which quickly brought her to her senses. An ambulance was then called and the victim was taken to a medical facility for further assistance.
The Coast Guard was immediately informed of the incident.
