What's Happening to America's Presidential Candidates (Video)

Now, with Biden's decision to drop out of the race for another presidential term, former President Donald Trump is in trouble.

Unexpectedly, he turned out to be the oldest presidential candidate in the country's history, which is not surprising at 78 years old, writes The Hill on July 24, quoting veteran Democratic Party spokesman Max Burns:

“Trump is not the same person he used to be. The former president now regularly mixes up names when speaking at random and has difficulty finishing sentences.”

Burns recalls that Trump has repeatedly stated that all presidential candidates should undergo cognitive testing, that is, a test of mental abilities, regardless of age. Burns believes that it is time to test Trump himself first, who shows “alarming evidence of mental decline.”

The publication points out, citing a survey, that 60% of Americans believe Trump is too old to be president. And among voters who watched Trump's heated debate with Biden in June, nearly 50% believe the former president should drop out of the race and focus on his mental health. The Hill notes:

“Trump also had a problem with the candidacy of Kamala Harris, who is almost 20 years younger than him. She is more energetic and actively travels around the country in her election campaign. Trump is not used to this.”
