The 33rd Olympic Games opened in Paris (updated)


On the evening of July 26, the opening ceremony of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games 2024 began in Paris. The Olympics in Paris will be held from July 26 (official opening) to August 11, 2024.

Start of the sports marathon: More than 10,500 athletes from all over the world will be able to see Paris from a new perspective and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the city that will be the scene of their sporting triumphs. The parade, 6 kilometers long, will end at the Place du Trocadéro.

A large-scale show with 2,000 artists was organized for this event. The water stage, illuminated by bright lights, became a platform for theatrical performances, dance, music and impressive special effects.
