The athletes of the Greek Olympic Mission departed from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport to Paris on a special flight early this morning on an AEGEAN plane.
The President and the AEGEAN team welcomed the more than 100 members of the Olympic delegation, including athletes from swimming, polo, fencing, athletics, tennis and judo, as well as coaches, supporters and the leaders of the Greek Olympic Committee, the passengers of the plane heading to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, wishing them good luck and a pleasant journey.
Aegean is the exclusive air transport sponsor of Team Hellas, the Greek delegation to the 2024 Olympic Games in Parisand will transport all athletes and their support staff to Paris and back.
Just a few days ago The national basketball team flew to Belgrade on a special flight sponsored by the company, from where they went to Lille to claim the Olympic medalAt the end of August, athletes and their support staff will take the same route to take part in the Paralympic Games in Paris.
AEGEAN President Mr. Euthychios Vasilakis said: “It is a special pleasure and honour for all of us at Team AEGEAN to bring the athletes to Paris.
