A storm characterized by squalls and hail swept harshly through the municipality of Agia Larisa this morning.
Water flooded the central road and traffic was difficult. As the president of the Agricultural Association Tasos Kostoulas told the channel “ERT Larisa”, The downpour caused significant damage to fruit crops (apples, pears, peaches) in the areas of Batirema, Kalyvia and Neromilos. Also, due to the ferocity of the wind that swept through this area, a plane tree fell on the Agia Neromilos road.
Now, according to ertnews.gr, these natural phenomena have died down a bit.
