Police officers from the Thermi Security Department have arrested seven people for thefts and robberies in Thessaloniki.
In particular, those arrested are accused of two burglaries of private vehicles, one theft from a sanitary goods store and one theft from a warehouse, committed between the end of July 2023 and the end of March 2024 in the municipality of Thermi.
The criminals stole money worth a total of 15,000 euros, personal documents and items, as well as food, alcoholic beverages, electronic devices, a generator, a lawn mower and a camera worth a total of 5,200 euros. The relevant materials will be transferred to the Thessaloniki City Prosecutor's Office.
In addition to maintaining order in the Thessaloniki Prefecture through foot and seasonal patrols, systematic and targeted actions leading to arrests for various offences, the services of the Thessaloniki Police Headquarters conduct investigations into cases that occurred at an earlier time in order to identify those responsible.
