A six-year-old boy from Serbia was injured under unknown circumstances in a water park on the beach in Sithonia.
He was taken to the General Hospital of Chalkidiki – the child has a head injury. The incident occurred at noon on Saturday, when the boy was in the water park on the beach “Trani” Ammouda on the island of Sithonia.
An ambulance took him first to the Agios Nikolaos Medical Center and then, as a precaution, to the Chalkidiki General Hospital. The coast guard said in a statement quotes CNN Greece:
“On Saturday at noon, the Ormos Panagia Port Authority received a report that a 6-year-old boy (Serbian citizen) suffered a head injury in the sea while in the sea park on the beach ¨TRANI AMMOUDA¨ Agios Nikolaos (Sithonia). The 6-year-old foreigner was taken by ambulance first to the Agios Nikolaos Medical Center and then to the General Hospital of Chalkidiki. The preliminary investigation is being carried out by the Ormos Panagia Port Police Station.”
