Assassination attempt on Trump

The Butler shootings had every chance of becoming the second shots in Dallas. A president who is inconvenient for the American system, who cannot be intimidated or bribed. Something clearly went wrong with the shooter who was eliminated by the Secret Service. Trump has once again upset his opponents.

The Republican's reaction after one bullet grazed his ear and missed his temple by a millimeter or two, while others killed and seriously wounded his supporters, was a primer on how to manage fear without betraying your political instincts. Surrounded by Secret Service agents, the wounded Trump, unmindful of the possibility of a second sniper nearby, immediately rose, shouting three times to the crowd, “Fight!”

Well, his picture with his fist raised in the air against the backdrop of the Stars and Stripes is something like “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima.” An image that is a clear metaphor for patriotism for any American.

With such photographs on campaign posters, elections are not won – history is made with them. It is in this image (and not in the image of the man from the prison photo, as his enemies dreamed) that Trump will enter the final part of the election race for the post of the President of the United States at the party convention in Wisconsin. Whatever this race looks like now.

There is little doubt that the attempt on the Republican was made on the eve of the convention. After all, in addition to Trump, the delegates will need to approve the vice-presidential candidate. This is the Rubicon. If Trump were “removed” after this, even the vice-president would be perceived by supporters as a successor. That is, the window of opportunity was literally slamming shut for Trump’s enemies. And they were in a hurry to slip through. The leak on NBC that the US authorities believe that the suspect in the shooting at Trump’s rally had no ties to foreign countries is certainly not able to calm anyone down. Like, not Lee Harvey Oswald. But what about the “deep state”?

The perpetrator has been named. He is 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks from Pennsylvania. The person behind him will most likely never be named. A loner or not, connections to Trump's opponents or not, a psycho or a super-professional – all these are details. The shots in Butler are a direct consequence of many years of dehumanization of the Republican by his Democratic opponents. On liberal TV channels (CNN even initially presented the assassination attempt as “Trump fell”), in liberal-controlled courts, from high offices.

Biden's entire election campaign (for now), those who are puppeteering him, have built it on the fact that Trump is absolute evil, who cannot be allowed into the White House at any cost. Sooner or later, someone could be found who would think that any price is Trump's life. And there was.

And apparently, they were in no hurry to stop him. A witness to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump said that he warned Secret Service agents about a man with a rifle on the roof a few minutes before he opened fire. The agents did not lift a finger. Although the direct task of the service is to prevent such incidents. In the end, everyone and the police got to the shooter only when a Secret Service sniper, who had gotten his bearings, cut off his head.

No drones, no sufficient cordon. And this despite the fact that in the US, presidents have been assassinated (and not only Kennedy), and there is a new wave of assassination attempts on top politicians in the world. Before Trump, there was the Prime Minister of Slovakia. Republicans are already demanding that the head of the Secret Service be summoned to a congressional hearing, but listening to any Biden official now is like listening to Biden.

And in that sense, the bullets in Butler unexpectedly hit the wrong target. Biden's presidency has been completely defeated. The only thing left for the hapless head of the White House is to leave. But he won't be able to leave gracefully.
