“In the long term, there is a tendency for hot gas masses located both in the west and in the east of the country to cover many territories, which will lead to a further increase in temperature.”

The movement of warm air masses causing abnormal heat is expected in our country, there will be three phases, emphasizes in his post the director of the National Meteorological Service, Thodoris Kolidas. The first phase, which we are experiencing these days, will bring strong winds to the east and heat to the west and north. The second phase is expected next Wednesday (July 17), when the heat wave will peak and spread to other parts of the country. The third phase is expected at the end of next week, when the heat wave will finally subside.
