British Times magazine profiles 16 Greek islands that are both relaxing and energizing.
“Greece is full of enchanting destinations, from the mesmerizing pearls of the Cyclades to the untouched corners of the Ionian Sea. This summer will be unforgettable if you spend your holiday on one of the 16 Greek islands, the rating of which we present to you,” the publication says.
The top three on the list are the beautiful Aegina, Astypalaia and Leipsi. It is followed by Andros, which stands out for its authenticity, Folegandros with amazing sunsets, volcanic Nisyros, as well as Syros and Meganisi.
The list is completed by Alonissos, with its wonderful natural marine park, Agistri, combining “civilization and the sea”, Milos with its “otherworldly” landscapes, Patmos with its spectacular beaches, Kythira with its wild natural beauty, Kastellorizo, Serifos “for couples” and “ delicious” Sifnos with gastronomic delights.
