Russia releases map showing nuclear strike targets in Europe – Greece on list

Russia has published a map of military bases housing nuclear warhead arsenals in Europe, including countries such as Greece and Turkey.

The map includes five NATO countries such as Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Turkey, as well as other NATO countries such as Greece, Spain, Bulgaria and Romania. According to the Russians, there are about 100 US tactical nuclear weapons at six bases in these countries. Moscow warns that if the US continues with plans to deploy new nuclear weapons in European countries, it will be forced to take “more ambitious” nuclear deterrence measures.

Greece, although not included in the map of countries where nuclear weapons are permanently stationed, nevertheless remains a NATO country that is “among the potential carriers of nuclear weapons,” and the American base in the Court could be the reason for this. After all, no one knows when American aircraft carriers arrive or what weapons they carry. See map:

It is worth noting that Greece has so far denied the presence of nuclear weapons on its territory. A few years ago, the Greek Communist Party made a parliamentary request asking for confirmation presence of nuclear weapons on territory of the countrybut never received a response.
