Tourists are not welcome everywhere

Residents of a European resort are threatening to block the airport due to an excessive influx of tourists.

How writes BB.LV, residents of the Spanish island of Mallorca are ready to block the local airport. The British tabloid Daily Star reported that on May 17, activists from the Less Tourism, More Life association held a meeting to discuss preparations for an anti-tourism protest at Palma airport.

It is one of the busiest airports in Europe during the peak summer season. Activists plan to arrive there by car, thereby creating large traffic jams.
