MRB poll: winners and losers after no-confidence vote


Residents of Greece call Mitsotakis's victory in the vote of no confidence Pyrrhic. How do they evaluate the actions of justice and the initiatives of the victims’ relatives?

Kyriakos Mitsotakis's “New Democracy” lost significant popularity after the vote on vote of no confidenceas evidenced by MRB survey data for Open.

The majority of citizens believe that the ruling party has lost politically after the vote of no confidence in the government in connection with the tragic accident in Tempi, and the actions of the four opposition parties (PASOK, SYRIZA, New Left, Eleftherias) are characterized as “justified”.

It is telling that among the political parties, New Democracy is the biggest loser, as 51.3% of them responded that they definitely lost politically from the vote of no confidence. While among the winners, Zoe Konstantopoulou’s “Path of Freedom” is in first place with 31%, and in second place is PASOK with 29.9%, which took the initiative to submit the vote.

However, citizens still consider Kyriakos Mitsotakis the best prime minister and give him 27.5%, Stefanos Kasselakis 8.9%, and Nikos Androulakis only 7.5%. Kyriakos Velopoulos is next with 6.9%, while the last two positions are occupied by Zoe Konstanthopoulou with 4.4% and Dimitris Koutsoumbas with 4.3%.
