Child benefit: when will the application platform open?

According to the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family and the supervised Organization of Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA), the online platform A21 – Child Benefit will open next Monday, February 26.

The platform will remain open and accept new applications until 18:00 on March 11. It is also expected to be temporarily closed on 29 March 2024 from 08:00 to process applications and accrue amounts for the first two months of 2024.

Recipients of child benefit can apply on the IDIKA platform www.idika.gr or through the website www.opeka.gr using your personal Taxisnet access codes. As part of the government’s targeted measures to strengthen families, from 1 January 2024, according to a statement by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, the benefit amount increases per child A21:

• The child benefit increases from 50 euros to 70 euros.
• The benefit for two children increases from 70 euros to 120 euros.
• The benefit for three children increases to 170 euros.
• The benefit for four children increases to 220 euros from 170 euros.
