The meeting between Zelensky and Trump lasted an hour (video)

After a meeting between US presidential candidate Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, both made statements at a press conference.

The meeting took place on Friday, September 27 in New York. At a briefing following the negotiations, Trump emphasized that Russia’s war against Ukraine must be ended through a “fair agreement.” When asked how he sees a “fair” agreement to end the Russian-Ukrainian war, the politician replied: “It’s too early to talk about this”:

“I have my ideas, and President Zelensky definitely has his own ideas. But it (the world) must be fair.”

Zelensky noted that this war should not have started in the first place. The President of Ukraine emphasized that Putin is killing people, so “everything must be done to put pressure on him so that he stops this war, and he is on our territory”:

“How to stop the war? We must put pressure on him (Putin) as much as we can.”

Zelensky noted that the United States is the leader of support, and Ukraine greatly appreciates this support:

“We are grateful to the United States, the American people, and, of course, we understand that the United States can lead in any negotiations.”

Zelensky also invited Trump to come to Ukraine, to which he replied: “Absolutely. This is a wonderful country.”

Let us remind you that on September 26, Zelensky held negotiations with US President Joe Biden and a meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the presidential candidate from the Democratic Party.
