On Tuesday morning (10/09), a 39-year-old jeweller from Egaleo experienced a nightmare: unknown assailants shot him in the leg and stole his bag containing gold bars.
According to the information, the incident occurred around 11:00 a.m. when the jeweler was walking along Lycabettus Street. He was approached by two people who, without saying anything, They shot him in the leg and snatched the bag of valuables he had on his shoulder. The criminals then got into the car and disappeared.
According to the TV channel Skai.grthe jeweler was carrying gold bars in his bag. The police investigating the case believe that the robbery was a tip-off, as the criminals clearly knew about the gold the jeweler was carrying in his bag.
The victim of the attack was taken to Triasio Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
