Police officers at Alykes police station in Zakynthos arrested a 69-year-old local man on Monday (9/09) after he shot and wounded a dog.
As part of the investigation into the complaint, the man was identified and arrested for having committed a crime in the Agia Marina area of Zakynthos early yesterday morning He injured a dog belonging to a local resident.
As part of the preliminary investigation conducted by the Alykes Police Department, the hunting rifle used by the offender was confiscated.which he was found to have owned illegally. He was also given an administrative fine of 50,000 euros.
The arrested person was brought before the prosecutor of the Plenary Court of Zakynthos.
