Patisia: two people on a motorcycle opened fire on a 55-year-old man

Athens police are investigating armed attack on a 55-year-old man, of which two unknown personsshot early in the morning in Patisia, after which they fled on a motorcycle.

The incident occurred around 04:55 am at the intersection of Vrutu (Βρούτου) and Temou Anninu (Θέμου Άννινου) streets in the Patisia district.

According to ProtoThematwo men on a motorcycle approached the 55-year-old just as he was leaving the house and opened fire.

The victim received gunshot wounds to his lower extremities. The ΕΚΑΒ team took him to the Georgios Gennimatas Hospital. According to the latest data, there is no threat to his life.

Three cartridges and one bullet

Police arrived at the scene and found three spent cartridges and one bullet. The attackers managed to escape.

The victim is a man of Albanian origin. According to MEGAhe has no criminal record.

The 55-year-old himself told the police that the attackers allegedly tried to rob him.
