Search for missing 15-year-old girl in Agrinio received a difficult continuation: after police found her in the home of a 31-year-old man, the minor reported abduction and sexual assault by two men.
The girl is missing September 1. Relatives contacted the police and the organization “Child’s Smile” (Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού), after which a Missing Alert was issued to search for her.
On September 2, police received information that a minor might be in the house of a 31-year-old man in the Agrinio area.
The police arrived at the indicated address and indeed found a girl there along with a man.
Later, his 32-year-old acquaintance was identified and detained.
What the 15-year-old said
According to the girl’s testimony, she herself went to the 31-year-old’s house, however, once near the building, I changed my mind about going inside.
She claims that the man forced her into the house and, together with a 32-year-old acquaintance, held her there against her will.
Then, according to the minor, both men sexually assaulted her.
These allegations are now being verified by the police. At this stage we are talking about victim statement and charges broughtand the final assessment of the evidence will be given by the court.
The girl’s things were found in the house
According to information in.grduring the inspection of the premises were discovered 15 year old clothes and underwear.
Forensic and toxicological examinations have been ordered for the investigation.
Two men detained
A 31-year-old and a 32-year-old man were detained and handed over to the judicial authorities.
According to reports Pelop and other Greek media, a case has been formed against them on charges of kidnapping of a minor and rape.
Police continue to establish the exact chronology of events: how the girl got to the house, how long she was inside, who was in contact with her during the disappearance, and whether her statements correspond to the results of examinations and other physical evidence.
Her parents searched for her all over the city.

According to him, relatives and residents of Agrinio independently looked for the child, and an unknown person even called the family and said that the girl was supposedly safe. The police later found her.
