Rafina: Albanian stabbed at gas station, then hit by car

According to police, he first wounded gas station employee of Egyptian originand then attacked client of Albanian origin. The gas station worker suffered injuries to his arm and head, and the second victim suffered injuries to both arms.

Chase after attack

After the attack, the attacker tried to escape on foot. However, one of the wounded, according to investigators, got into the car, caught up with the attacker not far from the gas station and knocked him down. As a result, a 52-year-old man suffered a leg injury.

Later, a video from a surveillance camera appeared in the public domain, which recorded the moments of the bloody episode at the gas station. The footage shows how an ordinary verbal altercation turns into a scene of outright street violence in a matter of seconds.

Police quickly arrived on the scene, detained two participants in the incident and opened a criminal case for causing dangerous bodily harm. The circumstances of the incident continue to be investigated.

The attacker was taken to hospital “Gennimatas”while the other two victims received first aid in Rafina Health Center.

What is known about the attacker

According to Greek media, the 52-year-old man may have had psychological problems. However, at the moment this is not presented as an officially confirmed medical fact, and therefore requires caution in assessments.
