The mother saved the child from "distraught" car in Nafpaktos

A serious accident occurred in Nafpaktos: an elderly driver, according to preliminary data, lost control of the car and drove at high speed towards the place where a young mother and child were. The woman managed to react literally in a split second and saved the child from being run over.

The incident was caught on CCTV and caused a strong public outcry in Greece. The footage shows the woman standing next to the car and trying to seat or secure her child when she notices the car approaching.
